When it comes to playgrounds not all are suitable for toddlers. Is the equipment aged and a bit too dangerous? Are there toilets? Is parking easy and close to the park? Is there a nice lawned picnic area or seating? Is it covered or shaded from the sun? And let's face it, some playgrounds with skate park areas or older children play areas tend to be more of a teen hangout.

When you have a toddler you are looking for clean, safe equipment, facilities, fenced areas and a nice comfortable place to sit with the pram and everything else you have to drag along with you.

So for your next outing try some of these playgrounds, parks and reserves for a great day out with the kids.
