Halloween falls on Thursday, 31st October 2019. It is an opportunity for children to dress up in a spooky costume, take part in scary arts and crafts and go trick or treating! If you are looking for a safe, fun place to take your children for Halloween, we've put together a guide of some of the best places in Adelaide!

Note - Some of these events take place before or after 31st October, so be sure to check before you go!



Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? Adelaide Knitting Club has beginner classes running now.
The Adelaide Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.
Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is an opportunity to experience the zoo after hours at this ‘fangtastic family event! Bring your little witches and wizards along for a trick-or-treat trail, Halloween-themed animal presentations, spooky entertainment, ghoulish giveaways and so much more. Dress to impress, or even scare.

Halloween Treasure Hunt at Mitcham Square

The Adelaide Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.
You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Saturday 11th May 2019 at Rymill Park.
This free, fun Halloween event at Mitcham Square Shopping Centre is a fantastic excuse for the kids to dress up for a Treasure Hunt! Bring them along in their best outfit to trick or treat in a safe environment.

Kids Workshop - Halloween Monsters

It will be a Halloween theme at Edible Lunchbunch for a fun morning of edible art! Using fresh strawberries and melted chocolates, marshmallows and pretzels, the kids will create a delicious arrangement of spiders, mummies, skeletons, monsters, flying bats, vampires, Frankenstein head and evil pumpkins in a ceramic mug! Plus they get to take home what they create!

The Beachouse Presents: The Spookhouse

It’s Halloween….that means the Lollipop’s Disco Bash is on again! Dress in your Halloween finest, enjoy music and dancing, games, face painting and lots of fun!

Children’s Halloween Movie ‘Coco’

Get into the spirit of Halloween with Coco, an animated spectacular for children and grownups alike. Inspired by Mexico’s vibrant Day of the Dead festivities, Coco follows the adventures of a young aspiring musician Miguel who ventures to the land of the dead in search of his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Coco is a celebration of Mexican culture and music and the power of following your dream.
