Torrens Parade Ground, Adelaide Riverbank is alive this July for the Alpine Winter Village.
In one word it is simply 'stunning'. Gorgeous lighting through the autumn trees, marquee's with wonderful food and wine, food vans, small open fires to keep warm, market stalls, camel rides, bouncy castle and of course the main attraction... ICE SKATING!
It runs daily Sunday-Thursday, 10.00am-midnight
Friday-Saturday, 10.00am-1.00am until Sunday 31 July 2016.
Entry is FREE, however from 7pm Friday and Saturday night there is a small entry fee of $5.
Ice Skating is held on the hour, every hour, from 10.00am and tickets range from $7.50 per child to $30 for a family.
My advice is to pre-purchase tickets from the website or grab your skates as a session begins while there is little or small line up.
