Anonymous Post - Help with Ex Partner

Hey ladies,

long story story short I'm after people's opinions on our situation.
Me and my partner have a daughter together. He also has another daughter to his ex girlfriend who is now 8! We have been trying our hardest to see his eldest girl but every time we do 'meet up' she stands us up! no message, no call, nothing. His daughter adores him but yet the ex won't let her daughter be around her dad without her there! Now just to be clear, the problem isn't with her being around, it's the fact that when my partner does get to see his eldest daughter the ex constantly puts him down confront of their daughter and I hate that.
The daughter that my partner and I have together has never met his eldest daughter, which is our daughters half sister! I feel so heart broken that the ex won't allow it! We have done nothing to make her do this. We have done everything she asks and she is the one who doesn't show! she won't even drop off her daughter off to our house for an hour even though she is screaming that she wants to see her daddy
How can I make the situation any better? How can I help my daughter meet her half sister? Why do some women have to be so hard to deal with!?!
