Prenups*

I'm a single mum of two, who works fulltime with a pretty good wage.
After two separations I've pretty much started from scratch and my net value isn't much. Material things don't really bother me and I'd rather be self sufficient then take what I'm entitled to.
I met a guy who has been 'fed with a silver spoon' at work, although I didn't know he was from a wealthy family until after we 'hooked up'.
A few months later I met his mum for the first time and she mentioned about getting a prenup, which I could understand but obviously when a relationship is recognised defacto and has some legal weighting to it.
I must admit I was a bit thrown back and intimidated, but the family has gone through a few divorces etc so I get that.
Now 2 years later, and 1 year of living together it's now getting done but they (he and his mum) expect me to pay for a lawyer to look over it.
I somehow think I shouldn't have to, I mean I'm not the one who wants it and who's pushing for it, why should I?
Do you think I'm being a bit unreasonable? I've somehow said I would (they're paying for the prenup itself, but I need to pay for a lawyer to look over it)

We do live at his place, I don't pay anything against the mortgage (because if I did I'd be entitled to something) however go halves in everything else.
I wouldn't ever take anything that is his (I gave my ex our house!) and I do feel it's a bit invasive them knowing all of my financial things (liabilities, savings etc)

I'd appreciate everyone's honest opinion!
