Really need help and advice from mothers who have been in this situation what was the best outcome.

I'm a single mother with a 6month old on centerlink benefits, I am currently not sure whether I will be going back to work or not.
I have a full time position (shift worker) and not sure if it's work going back full time and trying to get help from family looking after my baby. Or if it's worth me losing my full time position and going back casual/part time.
I know it's a lot of years away but when my baby turns 8 I'll no longer be eligible for single parenting. So I will have to go back full time then anyway how ever it I drop back from full time now I won't be able to change it in the future. So my question is
1is it worth the time away from my child going back full time now and having a better future.
2 stay on centerlink single and be more with my baby but probably struggle later on.
