Adelaide has become an amazing hotspot for the growing Asian street food scene. Join the Adelaide Food Safariís Asian Street Food and discover hidden Asian cultures and cuisines around the city!
This whirlwind safari is the perfect introduction to Asian street food, a highly underrated yet cost effective style of cooking that is packed full of flavour. You will explore the different flavours and cooking styles of Vietnamese, Malaysian, Korean and Japanese cuisines.
Asian street food is known as the Ďfood of the peopleí and is a quintessential and authentic representation of Asian cuisine. Come along and try the mix of South-East Asian flavours that are highly contrasted against East Asian flavours, yet feature a modern element.
While Australia doesnít have a huge street vendor scene, there are several restaurants in Adelaide that are particularly intimate with this food culture. During the event, you will visit 4 to 5 places chosen for their backgrounds and dishes on offer.
Your host will guide you around to each place, where you will try delicious samples and learn about the origin of each food.
Whether youíre totally new to Asian cuisine or if it already a firm favourite, the tour will inspire you to try more and is a great opportunity to discover more of Adelaideís hidden gems.
