Itís time to whip out the hats, singlets, shorts, and thongs that adorn our national flag. Itís time to wear green and gold together with pride. Australia Day is a week away, and we need to get organised with a list of fun things to do, on one of our favourite Public Holidays of the year.

Australia Day Fireworks at Semaphore Foreshore will be a spectacular event. Enjoy the day at Semaphore Summer Carnival, eating carnival food and partaking in amusement rides, and swimming in the beach. The fireworks will commence at 9:30pm.
Semaphore Summer Carnival opens at 11:00am every day.

Australia Day in the City is a fun evening event for the whole family. Beginning with the Australia Day Street Parade at 6:00pm- a beautiful, colourful, multicultural event which celebrates all Australians. Following on from the parade, is the Australia Day Concert, featuring performances from Ricki-Lee and Chris Sebastian. As well as the Flag Raising Ceremony and 21 Gun Salute. At 9:30pm the fireworks will be wonderful ending to a fantastic Australia Day Celebration.
