So, picture this: an abandoned resort that's screaming "perfect hideaway" but might actually just be a fancy trap. Welcome to Barren Cape, where former housemates Mac and Erika find themselves in a bit of a pickle. Erika's living the dream at her parents' place, just waiting for a shiny new rental to pop up, while Mac is caught in a less glamorous game of "couch surfing" with friends who are definitely running out of patience.

One day, while driving around like a lost puppy, Mac stumbles upon Barren Cape. Once a luxurious getaway in its heyday, now it's just a sad slab of grey concrete and a bunch of rusty wire fencing.
