Come and see what 35 years of child development classes look like, at BabyROO and GymbaROO.

BabyROO and GymbaROO, established in Australia, in 1982, is a class for babies from 6 weeks old, to school aged children. These classes focus on development of cognitive, language, and physical skills, and the relationship between parent and child.
The lessons are structured into 10-week terms. Each term will focus on a particular theme, and each week the lessons will be structured around the theme.

The 45-minute classes focus on the importance of tummy time, for babies to learn about themselves and their environment. Activities that are included in this class are massage, gentle exercises, singing, and movement.

Toddler Class
This 50-minute class will focus more on gross and fine motor activities, as the children begin to develop in this area, and become more active.
Your toddler will be given 10 minutes of free play before the class begins. This allows your child to settle into their lesson, and make new friends. Then comes the 20 minutes of mat time. There will be singing, bubbles, and exercises. Following on, will be 15 minutes of equipment time. This will help develop your child’s gross motor skills. Lastly, the lesson will end with music time. The finale of singing and parachute play will have your children wanting more, and looking forward to their next lesson.

Kinder Enhancement Class
This 55-minute class is designed to smoothly transition your child from the Toddler Class, into the more developed Kinder Class.
The classes are structured the similar to Toddler classes, with set times for free play, mat, and equipment time. It differs in the level of difficulty: parents are encouraged to provide minimal involvement during mat time, to help build their child’s independence.

School Readiness Class
This 60-minute class is the most challenging of them all. It focuses on building children’s social skills and team work, listening skills, and problem solving, which will help prepare them for formal schooling.
Mat time involves working in pairs or groups to complete activities. Equipment time involves rules and challenges, which will build their auditory and memory, and well as physical skills. Music time will still incorporate parachute games, with the added bonus of treasure bag, and music & rhythm.
