Brunch is our favourite meal of the day. Although these days with little ones up early and us all out by 8am, it would definitely be classed as breakfast! With twins on a strict nap schedule and a large double pram there were definitely some prerequisites for our breakfasting shortlist. Now that are girls are older, we require two highchairs when we are heading out for our brew and bacon.

Here are some of my recommended cafes (28 of them in fact) with space, highchairs, some with change tables or kids menus for the older children and easy access for mumma's with bubbas to catch up for a coffee or for a weekend family bite to eat. Perhaps share with your pals and head on out for a coffee and a chin wag! Or comment your favourite local below so I can give it a try!

Devour 52 Davenport Terrace, Hilton
Highchairs: 2 including plenty of space for a pram or two.

Karma and Crow 249 - 251 Richmond Road, Richmond
Highchairs: 2 and loads of room for prams. They have outdoor seating if you have a pooch or two and a private room that can be hired for large gatherings.

Bond and Lane Canteen 1 Salisbury Crescent, Colonel Light Gardens
Highchairs: 8
Space for prams: yes (access to the store is up a step so be mindful)
Kids menu: no - but a very kid friendly location with plenty of floor space, an outdoor area and separate rooms

Pure Glenelg 34 Jetty Road, Glenelg
Highchairs: 4
Change table: yes
Kids Menu: some kids items - loads of space inside and out for prams. A good amount of chatter to cover any noisy babies, fast service and the Breakfast Slider is sensational.

Entropy Corner Reid Street and Corner Queen Street, Thebarton
Highchairs: 4
Change Table: yes
Kids menu: - No, but you can make up a delicious kiddy feast from all the extras items on the menu. Loads of space for kids to run around inside and out and for the whole mothers group with all of their prams - but call ahead if that’s your plan.

Local Crowd 14 The Strand, Colonel Light Gardens
Highchairs: 5
Kids Menu: a few items - this is a tight space so I wouldn’t recommend prams inside, but there is outside seating for a sunny day where you can take in the wide tree lined streets of Colonel Light Gardens.

Spill the Beans 89 Devereux Road, Linden Park
Highchairs: 2
Kids Menu: can do small plates and simple kids items. This isn’t the place for a big gathering as there is a step up for access and perhaps space for one or two prams, but perfect for a quick bite and hot coffee.

Long Lost Friend 523 Magill Road, Magill
Highchairs: 4
Kids Menu: some small items - the café is small and not particularly pram friendly But they do have a back room that can fit 14 people with multiple highchairs and space for some prams if you book ahead.

Mister Sunshines 32 George Street, Therbarton
Highchairs: 2
Kids menu: yes. Pram space inside is limited but there is a decent amount of outside seating to fit prams on a warm day.

Whistle and Flute 136 Greenhill Road, Unley
Highchairs: 2
Change Table: yes
Kids menu: no kids menu, there is a decent amount of space for a pram or two and group seating. Access is by a ramp or stairs. Parking is around the back.

Nutrition Republic Shop 1/100 King William Road, Hyde Park
Highchairs: 2 very small café but has some room outside for a pram or two. Not for a large a gathering.

Argo on the parade 212 The Parade, Norwood
Highchairs: 4 This place is always packed so I would recommend a booking. It is very loud so will cover the noise of any cranky kids but you probably won't be able to have a proper conversation either.

Highchairs: 2 This place has plenty of room for prams. With parking in the Unley shopping centre it’s a great mums and bubs option. The door is a bit of a trick to navigate with a pram however!
