Six of the spookiest child-friendly Halloween events in Adelaide.

Halloween is growing in popularity every year. It seems more households are getting into the spooky spirit, which creates more events in the community.

There are an abundance of Halloween parties and events all around Adelaide in October. Here's our pick of child-friendly Halloween events.

Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? Adelaide Knitting Club has classes starting in January 2019.
Join Adelaide Food Safari Club for their 3-hour Cheese & Wine tour around Adelaide’s excellent wine bar scene.
TrickorTreatme allows you to register your household’s interest, alongside your address and availability so that the Trick or Treaters in the neighbourhood will know you’re just as excited as they are to participate!

Adelaide Halloween Spooktacular
Beginning on the very apt date of October 31, Adelaide Halloween Spooktacular is the ultimate Halloween celebration. There will be stage shows, trick or treat trail, Australia's largest Ghost Train, Halloween obstacle course, plus much more.

When: 31 October- 4 November

Where: Colley Reserve, Colley Terrace, Glenelg 5045

The Adelaide Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.

Boo At The Zoo
Boo at the Zoo is back for another year of thrilling fun. Imagine making your way through the trick or treat trail at the zoo, while hearing the sounds of the animals. There will be plenty of entertainment and giveaways, so make sure you don't miss out.

Where: Adelaide Zoo, Frome Road, Adelaide 5000

When: 26 October, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Halloween on King William 2018
King William Road is inviting all ghosts, goblins, ghouls, and princesses to their fourth annual Halloween event. Department stores and restaurants along King William Road will be participating in the Halloween tradition of Trick or Treat. There will also be a fabulous Halloween Bloomsbury Street Party, filled with entertainment, face painting, photo booth, plus much more.

When: Saturday 27 October from 10:00am - 2:00pm

Halloween Science Club- Spooky Science
Is your child crazy about science? Do they love anything that is spooky, scary, or just plain creepy? They will love Halloween Science Club's Spooky Science. Hosted by Adelaide City Library, your child will conjure up ghosts, and make slime.

This event is for children ages 7 and up.

Hosted by Holdfast Bay Community Centre, Family Halloween Special will be a fun evening out for the whole family. Enjoy games, activities, and prizes and don't forget to come dressed up in your spookiest costume.

When: Wednesday 31 October, from 4:00pm- 6:00pm

Puddle Jumpers Incorporated have organised a fantastic Halloween event for your children (5-15 years old). There will be plenty of food and fun for your child. Be sure to book a spot quickly, as tickets sell out fast.
