Midwifery student recruiting for Continuity of Care Experience
posted 29 days ago
I am a Registered Nurse, studying Midwifery at Flinders Univeristy.
I moved to Adelaide this year to commence my Midwifery studies and have struggled to find women who may be interested to be involved in the Continuity of Care Experience (COCE), simply because I moved not knowing anyone here in Adelaide.
The COCE program requires me to attend a minimum of 3 antenatal appts with you, the birth of your baby and a minimum of 2 postnatal appts after your baby arrives.
Iím looking to recruit 10 women due from January 2019 onwards, birthing at Flinders, Womens and Childrenís, Lyell McEwin, Mt Barker.
I get a lot of feedback from the families who I have joined through the COCE program, and the most common thing I get told, is that they find a lot of comfort knowing both themselves, and their partner, will have at least one familiar face with them throughout the whole journey, especially the birth.
I am very passionate about Midwifery and pride myself on offering support to each and every lady I meet.
This program is an amazing experience with many benefits, for you, your family and myself.
If you think you may be interested, or would like a little more info, please donít hesitate to contact me on 0418789904 and I will answer as many questions that you may have.
I look forward to joining you on this amazing journey.
