Brick-A-Laide Adelaide's biggest and most exciting LEGO Fan Event Friday 14th & Saturday 15th April
The two day event, will feature more LEGO fan creations than ever before. After seeing all the exhibits, get creative at the play tables and hang out with your favourite cosplay characters or play at the Games2U Mobile Games Theatre. Create your own brick masterpiece, head to the Plaster Fun House to paint a work of art or swing past the photo booth to take home a one of a kind picture as a souvenir.
You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Saturday 11th May 2019 at Rymill Park.
How sessions work: Brick-a-laide has hourly entry sessions so that you can get up close to all of the impressive models on display. Once your session begins you can stay as long as you like, enjoying the models, getting creative at the play tables or browsing the trader area.
Make sure you book your preferred session to avoid disappointment!
Session Times: Sessions run in hour-long blocks from 8.30am to 3.30pm each day and the event closes at 6.00pm.
Sensory Friendly Session: Brick-a-laide offers Sensory Friendly Sessions for those with Autism Spectrum Disorders and special needs. These sessions will be held on Friday, 14th & Saturday, 15th April at 8.00am and 4.30pm and will provide a supportive environment with low volume music and announcements, and reduced visitor numbers.
A life sized sand tribute to the children’s classic, celebrating 150 years of magical entertainment. Walk amongst the popular tale carved by 7 Australian and 3 international sand sculptors and follow Alice through The Hall of Locked Doors, down the rabbit hole into Wonderland.
Scenes such as the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, Flamingo Croquet, Cheshire Cat, The Queen Of Hearts procession and the Caterpillar will all be on display.
There will be a full range of children’s activities including sand sculpting workshops, face painting, children’s activity sheet, the family game zone and more.
Plus, over the four day Easter long weekend included with entry is the #sandsational Easter Egg Hunt where all children receive a bag of eggs.

The Semaphore beach comes alive again over the Easter long weekend when the Adelaide International Kite Festival returns! Featuring international guest kite flyers from New Zealand and Malaysia along with local kite flyers and interstate.
The Festival Marketplace returns with stallholders selling their wares and running activities for all to be involved in.
Various Amusement Rides and Activities at a cost
A family-oriented event, the Easter Racing Carnival has plenty of activities and entertainment designed especially for kids, including rides and amusements, an animal petting zoo, face painting, Kelly Sports, Specky Events and roving entertainers. Uniquely among SA race courses, racegoers can bring their own picnics, barbeques, marquees and tents so families soak up the unique country racing atmosphere.
