Come and see Australia’s biggest open-range zoo, here in Adelaide.

Located 70km from the city center of Adelaide, on Old Princes Highway, Monarto Zoo spans more than 1,500 hectares, and is home to more than 50 species of native and exotic wildlife. There is so much to do and see at Monarto Zoo.

If your interests include meeting new people and exploring all that the exciting North Adelaide food culture hub has to offer, the Adelaide Food Safari has an event for you!
You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Saturday 11th May 2019 at Rymill Park.
With over 500 animals throughout the zoo, there will always be something exciting to see. Some of these animals include: Southern White Rhinoceros, Black Rhinoceros, Cheetah, African Lion, as well as native Tasmanian Devils, and Yellow-footed Rock-Wallabies, plus many more exquisite animals. Monarto Zoo has a range of exciting Animal Experiences, from Being A Keeper For A Day, to Meet The Chimps, and the new Lions 360, plus many more.

I’m sure, as you are reading this, you are thinking ‘how on earth do I visit all of these animals over 1,500 hectares?’ The Zu-loop bus will transport you around the grounds of the zoo, where you can hop off at the viewing platforms for a better view of the animals.
If you fancy yourself a bit of a hike, there are plenty of walking tracks available. You can choose a walking track to suit your energy levels, here.

Unlimited Access starts from $49.95 (Children's price).
Life Membership: $2,300
Two Zoos Pass from $29.95 (Children’s price).
One Day Pass starting from $19.50 (Children’s price).
