We invite the general public to "Make friends with Africa" right in the heart of the city.

New events and new formats feature strongly, and with some new and upgraded facilities, it will make for an ideal family night out.

The Lucky Dumpling Market will also host entertainment including some of the best local and international bands, plus roving performances, DJs, and community activations.

Presented by young dancers of The South Australian Children's Ballet Company, don't miss your chance to see this classic Disney tale come to life in a beautiful ballet this September.

There will be a diverse schedule of entertainment across two performance areas, plenty of childrens activities including a Rockabout Climbing Wall, bouncy castle, face painting, balloon animals, library activities, a colouring-in competition and more.

It is a celebratory event with different themes each time, kicking off with the launch of spring and concluding with the changing colours of autumn.

There will be demonstrations, guest speakers and hands-on workshops on digital animation, EV3 robotics, 3D printing, coding, virtual reality, circuits and more.

Spring is definitely in the air with the second SA Spring Garden Festival shaping up to be bigger and better than the inaugural Festival.
