The most beautiful living maze in South Australia.
As a child, I had always wanted to visit a large living maze. I would see them in movies and on TV, and just thought they were a-MAZE-ing. If you, too, had the same dream, then dream no more, because your wish has come true! Nestled in the picturesque Clare Valley, is Mintaro Maze.

Made from 800 conifers, this maze will see you manoeuvring through different paths and entry ways. A beautiful fountain will welcome you to the half-way point, before continuing to twist and turn, until eventually, finding yourself out the other side.
Running every second Saturday, join Foodi on their interactive Chocolate Walking Tour, where you will discover some of these chocolatiers and gain insight into their craft.
Once you have completed the maze, you are sure to have worked up an appetite. There are plenty of areas to sit on the lawn to eat your picnic lunch, or, enjoy homemade cakes, muffins, slices, scones, and the ‘best coffee in the Valley’ at their Maze Café.
Mintaro Maze hosts a variety of events throughout the year, so be sure to check their events calendar. While you are at Mintaro Maze, check out their gift shop for some fantastic souvenirs and gift ideas.
