High Risk For Down Syndrome

Hi Everyone,
Hoping for some advice and information.
Currently 12 weeks pregnant and we've just receive the results for our first trimester screening. Our baby is high risk of having Down Syndrome.
We are rather disheartened by this news.
Just curious as to how many other people had the same result, and if so, was it a positive/negative result after further testing?
Appreciate any advice or experiences shared!
