Adelaide has many International Women’s Day events, which are selling out fast. Listed here are events which have not yet sold out, but you need to get in fast.
This event will be held one week prior to IWD, on Thursday 1st March, 2018 from 12:00pm- 3:00pm. Guest speakers, Kylie Bishop (Entrepreneur, CEO, Coach and Mentor), and Kate Gould (Arts consultant and digital entrepreneur) will be talking about women in business and education.

Come and celebrate 80 years since the founding of International Women’s Day Committee of South Australia. IWD Committee of SA will be holding a luncheon on Thursday 8th March at 12:00pm sharp. This year’s theme is: %%Is Social Media Killing Girlhood?: The Impact of Social Media on the Self-Image of Young Women and Girls.
Discussing this theme, will be a panel of intellectual and highly regarded women: Joan Russell (President of IWD Association of SA); Joanna Zeitz (Manager of Schools, Communities, Innovations and Learning Services (SCILS) for Relationships Australia SA); and Dr Collette Snowden (Senior Lecturer in the School of Communication, International Studies and Languages at the University of South Australia).

3.International Women’s Day Festival This is an all-day event, as part of Adelaide Fringe Festival. There will be many activities, such as a movie screening, concerts, performances, and speakers by local Women and Men. Lunch is provided by local businesses. Come and celebrate and share stories of the women in your life on Thursday 8th March.
