There are some great opportunities for you to impact someone’s life in the community support sector as part of Apprenticeship Careers Australia's Home Care Workforce Program!

The program is part of the Federal Government’s aim to grow the nation’s home care workforce by 13,000 over the next two years and we are currently recruiting for in-home support workers in South Australia.

You don’t need to have any previous experience as a support worker, we will give you all the training you need. For those without experience, our 3-week pre-employment course will teach you the basics of home care and individual support work, so you can learn how you can make a real difference in someone’s life.



Who can participate in the program?
Applications from all ages and all employment backgrounds are welcome. And the best part is, you don’t need any previous work experience!

What opportunities are there?
There are more than 1,000 jobs in Aged Care support work available across South Australia. You will work to provide essential in-home care to help senior Australians remain independent in their homes.

Don’t have the qualification or experience yet?
Not a problem! Join our free pre-employment course that will get you invaluable hands-on experience and the opportunity to complete a minimum of four accredited modules towards a Certificate III. Many participants will end up with a job once training has been completed!
