The eco-friendly mobile coffee cart that comes to you!

Do you find yourself longing for that sublime cup of coffee when you’ve gone somewhere with the kids and there’s not a coffee shop in sight?

If you would like to organise a special get-together with your mum friends, or if you have a birthday party or indoor kids activity coming up and you need a coffee service, look no further!

As a couple with young children themselves, Charlie and Nicole, the duo behind Mean Green Coffee Machine are all too aware of how valuable coffee is to parents – particularly for those morning or afternoon kids activities.

Mean Green Coffee Machine

They've been setting up their Mean Green Coffee Machine at some of our favourite playgrounds around Adelaide over the past few months, making lots of mums, dads, grandparents and carers VERY happy while the kids are entertained.

Not only is this service convenient, but Mean Green Coffee Machine is about so much more than just coffee... MUCH MORE!

Of course, there are the wonderful freshly roasted espresso coffees, but there's also a range of teas, chais, hot chocolate, mocha and iced drinks available too, which are all available with speciality milk options. For the kids, there are bubbacinos,100% natural Mountain Fresh juices and bottled water. And the service doesn't stop there! There's also a variety of delicious freshly baked small cakes (including GF options) on offer too.

Mean Green Coffee Machine

But here's where Mean Green Coffee Machine is really quite different from other mobile coffee carts – as the name entails, this little business is BIG on being 'Green'! Everything is done with an eco-sustainable, environmentally friendly and ethical approach. Customers are encouraged to BYO cups for refills at a discounted price.

As Nicole says, "It's probably because we have children that we're so passionate about what we're doing and how we're doing it. We've always been really health conscious about avoiding artificial colourings and preservatives in foods and getting the kids involved in veggie planting at home to educate them about where food comes from and how to be healthy. But a lot of our focus now is teaching them how to be responsible and care for our environment to ensure it's still here for them to enjoy with their children."

Mean Green Coffee Machine is registered with the Responsible Cafes organisation and they also sell their own bamboo ByoCup as a reusable option (with proceeds for each sale going to the Carbon Neutral Charitable Fund to plant a native Australian tree to improve biodiversity and help offset their carbon footprint). Everything used for the takeaway service is biodegradable.
