Located in North Adelaide, My Private Midwife gives personalised midwifery care during pregnancy and beyond.They offer hypnobirthing classes to prepare you with knowledge about pregnancy, birth and parenting so that you feel excited, not fearful.
These classes empower you to have a positive birth experience, irrespective of mode of birth, and are delivered by an award winning midwifery educator with current hospital experience.
What is hypnobirthing?
Hypnobirthing is a type of childbirth education class, which teaches parents how to achieve a very deep state of relaxation.
Why do hypnobirthing?
Mothers who are knowledgeable about birth and the options available to them are more relaxed and therefore labour more easily.
Your partner will learn how to support and advocate for your wishes through hypnobirthing.
How does hypnobirthing help?
You will learn how release your bodyís natural pain relieving hormones, endorphins
You will develop a positive mindset about labour as something to be embraced and enjoyed.
Classes run for four weeks and parents may choose to do these anytime from 20 weeks of pregnancy.
Week Night Classes: Held in North Adelaide
Starting on 22nd January and the following 3 weeks.
Starting on 25th February and the following 3 weeks (excluding Adelaide Cup).
Starting on 26th March and the following 3 weeks (excluding Easter).
