Pocket Money - how much? How often? What does everyone else do? Do they only get it for chores? This is a tricky situation.

I admit that I had never worried about this before because I only had one child. She basically just got whatever she needed or wanted, within reason. Now that life has changed and I have a partner and part-time step daughter, things are a little more expensive.
