FREE school holiday clinics to get the kids moving!
With school holidays just around the corner Power To Move Pty Ltd has some great, FREE programs to get your kids active and feeling great.
Proudly supported by the Mount Barker District Council, Bluestone and Mount Barker Community Centre, Power To Move Pty Ltd is running 5 free clinics during the second week of the School Holidays.
Power To Move Pty Ltd is dedicated to creating active, healthy kids and young people. They will be hosting their signature 60 minute Bootcamp and Boxing classes, which include a great warm up and cool down and free fruit for all kids after class.
Be quick to book as there are only 15 free spots for each class.

Tuesday, 8th October
Bootcamp for ages 5-8 years: from 10am-11am at Parkindula, 71 East Pkwy, Mount Barker
Wednesday, 9th October
Boxfit for 12-17 years: 10am-11am at Keith Stephenson Park, Rotunda, Mount Barker
Bootcamp for 9-11 years:11am-12pm at Keith Stephenson Park, Rotunda, Mount Barker
Thursday, 10th October
Bootcamp for 5-8 years: 10am-11am at Parkindula, 71 East Pkwy, Mount Barker
Friday, 11th October
Boxfit for ages 9-11 years at Mount Barker Community Centre, Training Room
Other School Holiday Programs
Want to find out more about Power to Move’s daily fitness programs? They will also be hosting a FREE School Holiday ‘Come and Try’ Day on Saturday, 28th September.
This is the perfect way to come and try Bootcamp or Boxfit-style classes, thanks to the City of Charles Sturt. There are 3 sessions designed for children to give them a taste of what Power to Move does.
Classes are 60 minutes and incorporate a warm up, cool down and fruit for each child. The times and age groups are listing below.
9:30am class - for children aged 5-8 years
10:45am class for children aged 9-11 years
12pm class is designed for Youth aged 12 - 16 years Seaford School Holiday Clinic
There will also be two 60 minute holiday clinics running through the October School Holidays at the Seaford Recreation Centre and Onkaparinga Recreation Centre.
These clinics are the perfect way to have an hour to yourself during the holidays!
The clinic are a combination of bootcamp, box fit and fun games! They include fresh fruit and veg at each class, warm up class, discussion and demonstration about core activity, muscle conditioning phase and warm down, plus health, movement and nutritional facts.
Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? Adelaide Knitting Club has beginner classes running now.
The Adelaide Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.
