Orana is a foodie's must 'go-to’ restaurant. The Australian named Orana the best restaurant in South Australia, while Gourmet Traveller awarded them with Australia’s Best Restaurant 2017. This is definitely one for the bucket list for an extravagant date night!
Jock Zonfrillo, the owner and chef of Orana (meaning ‘welcome’ in some Aboriginal languages), has spent over 16 years exploring Australia, and researching Australian history, people, land, and produce, to bring together a menu that celebrates ancient and modern Australia.
Orana is not typically a restaurant you will go to while you’re out shopping because you’re hungry. Instead, it's a place you plan to go to for a special occasion. Jock Zonfrillo designed the menu to be a set of tasting dishes: lunch (Friday’s only) consists of between 7-9 courses, while the dinner tasting menu consists of between 18-20 courses.
