Your kids wont be able to complain of boredom with these fantastic School Holiday events.

There are so many wonderful and exciting events during the upcoming School Holidays, that I was having a very hard time picking just a few to mention in this article- someone restrain me!

If I haven't mentioned any events near you, please check out your local council website to find some amazing events. A full list of South Australian council areas can be found here .

LEGO Club

Come and enjoy a world full of LEGO. Explore all of the different LEGO themes, characters, and scenery.

Suitable for ages 4 .

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

When: Every Sunday at 2:00pm.

Where: Rundle Place, Rundle Mall Adelaide 5000

Cost: FREE event

Nature Play Forest Festival

Bring your picnic blanket, and warm clothes, because Alexandrina council are holding a fantastic Nature Play Forest Festival, over two fun-filled days.

There will be plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained, such as:

  • Low ropes adventure course through the pines.
  • Australian animal-themed yoga classes.
  • Orienteering and bush walking trails. Plus many more.

  • When: Wednesday 18 April & Thursday 19 April.

    Where: Kuitpo Forest

    Cost: Adults $5.00
    Children $10.00

    Nite Sk8

    There will be plenty to do at Nite Sk8, including:
  • GIF and Mirror Booths,
  • Daytona Car Simulator,
  • Plenty of games,
  • Food and drink vans,
  • DJ, and of course,
  • Skating- or should I say sk8ing?

  • This is an alcohol free event for all ages.

    When: Saturday 14 April 5:00pm- 10:00pm

    Where: Nuriootpa Skate Park

    Cost: FREE

    Music Theme- Family Fun Day

    This event is designed for children 2-12 years old, but of course, the whole family is welcome to join in. This Family Fun Day will have plenty of interesting music-themed activities, such as:

  • Silent disco.
  • African drumming.
  • Making musical instruments, and much more.

  • When: Sunday 15 April, 1:00pm- 4:00pm

    Where: 70 Conynghan Street, Glenunga 5064

    Cost: FREE

    Cirkidz Pop Up Circus Workshop For Kids

    The City of Charles Sturt is hosting a Circus skills event with the help of Cirkidz. Cirkidz will be teaching children some simple acrobatic skills which they often see in the circus.

    This event is for children 8-14 years old.

    When: Wednesday 18 April 10:30am-12:00pm

    Where: Findon Community Centre
    222 Findon Road, Findon 5010

    Cost: $15.00 per child.
