In the upcoming FREE Introduction to Baby Massage Workshop, you will get a taste for the 4-week course, where you'll learn benefits, tips and some basic massage techniques for your baby. You'll also have the opportunity to discuss how massage can help common problems like reflux, colic, wind and constipation.

4 WEEK BABY MASSAGE PARENT COURSE

A group session runs once a week for one hour over 4 weeks, where massage techniques will be taught in stages. Each week you will have a chance to practice what you have learnt at home and return to class the following week with any questions you may have.

Soul Senses – Baby & Me

SESSION 1: Saturday 25th August, 10.30 - 11.30am

Appropriate oils to use on babies. Permission to massage. Strokes for the legs & buttocks. Contraindications (when to avoid massage). Parent relaxation.

SESSION 2: Saturday 1st September, 10.30 - 11.30am

Benefits of Baby massage. Recognising babies daily cycle & best time to massage. Baby's body language during the massage. Bonding. Strokes for abdomen & chest. Touch relaxation.

SESSION 3: Saturday 8th September 10.30 - 11.30am

Adaptations for the older child. Strokes for the face, arms & back. Colic discussion and strokes for wind, colic & constipation.

SESSION 4: Saturday 15th September, 10.30 - 11.30am

Exercises to keep babies flexible & assist lymphatic drainage. Review of full body massage sequence.
