It seems we have been gifted with the luck of the Irish, as Adelaide has some hatchet (donning the Irish slang) events lined up for St Patrick’s Day. So, put on your green attire, and prepare to jig the day away because we have found the best family-friendly events for you.
The streets will be turning green for the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade. It will be a fun day filled with Irish dancers and musicians, such as the Adelaide Irish Pipe Band, and Onkaparinga Pipe Band. After the parade, there will be family-friendly entertainment, and a sausage sizzle.
Co-hosted by the Irish Australian Association, and an absolute gas Irish Comedian, Eddie Bannon, St Patrick’s Day is sure to be a merry event at the Adelaide Oval.
There will be plenty of live entertainment and dancing, plus an abundance of food and drinks.
