Tammy Obst: Pre Postnatal Specialist Trainer - Upcoming Workshops

If you are trying to conceive or currently pregnant and would you like to learn more about how to de-stress and relax, plus take part in some gentle exercise while pregnant, Tammy Obst is a Pre-Postnatal Specialist Trainer with a workshop for you.

Tammy has created her Pre and Postnatal Program and workshops to better educate and empower women to understand their bodies, the changes that happen during pregnancy, and how posture alters as the baby grows.

There are two workshops currently open for bookings:

A Healthy Pregnancy Workshop, on Saturday 20th July from 1:30 to 4:30pm
Postnatal Core Restore Workshop, on Saturday 10th August from 1:30 to 4:30pm



A Healthy Pregnancy Workshop
Date: Saturday 20th July from 1:30 to 4:30pm
Location: Adelaide Yoga Flow, Unley Road, Malvern

This 3-hour workshop has been designed specifically for women who would like to get fit and healthy before pregnancy, during conception or during pregnancy.

During the workshop, you learn relaxation and de-stressing techniques, plus learn about exercise during pregnancy and discover how to make healthy choices. It will also provide guidance about how movement and a healthy lifestyle can benefit you and your baby and help prepare you for labour.

The class will incorporate the following components:
Diaphragmatic Breathing
Prenatal Mat Pilates Class
Prenatal Functional Strength Class
2 guest speakers: Rebekah Mauger, Pelvic Physiotherapist and Alexandra Wiatr, Prenatal Yoga Mummy Mindfulness



Postnatal Core Restore Workshop
Date: Saturday 10th August from 1:30 to 4:30pm
Location: Adelaide Yoga Flow, Unley Road Malvern

This 3-hour workshop has been designed to educate and empower mums to take control of their bodies, regardless of how old their children are. It will teach you how to best use breathing, pelvic floor and core work in your daily life. This will optimise your results to help lose that pouch and stop pelvic floor dysfunction for good!

The class will incorporate the following components:
Diaphragmatic Breathing
Postnatal Restore Class
Postnatal Recovery Class
2 guest speakers: Rebekah Mauger, Pelvic Physiotherapist and Alexandra Wiatr, Prenatal Yoga Mummy Mindfulness
An opportunity to mingle time with other mums how are on a similar journey over tea and treats!

With over 8 years in the health and fitness industry, Tammy has gained various qualifications related to exercise and lifestyle, so you can be assured you are in the best hands at these workshops.
