A haven for native Australian animals. A fantastic experience for families.
Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary is an amazing haven for Australia's wildlife. Kangaroos, koalas, bettongs, potoroos, plus a range of birds and reptiles, and platypus (very rare for mainland South Australia) all call Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary home. These animals, plus hundreds more are all living safe in the confines of a 2.1 metre high, electrified feral-proof fence, and are looked after by owners Narelle and David, plus a team of volunteers.
