Now that the weather should start to warm up, swimming season isn't far away. Does your child know how to swim properly? Sadly many children have lost their little lives to swimming pools. Yes, they must always be observed when in the water, but I believe that they must also learn how to swim, float and tread water correctly.
We can teach them what we know, but I took my young daughter to swimming lessons to make sure she was taught in the correct manner by professionals. I don't believe that the one week of swimming lessons offered at school is enough.
