This gig's been running since 1992, and just like a fine wine, it only gets better with age. It showcases the quirkiest, coolest, and downright delightful bits of global culture, offering everything from toe-tapping tunes to awe-inspiring art. You kind of have to see it to believe it—not just your average backyard BBQ, unless your neighbours are performing traditional dances and discussing global ideas over a few cold ones.

On any given day, you might find 18,000 to 20,000 punters enjoying the festivities, and that's not including the little ones who get in for free – because, really, who wants to pay for a toddler throwing a tantrum? With around 500 to 600 artists from over 30 countries taking over 7 or 8 stages throughout the 34-hectare park, you can bounce from an intimate gig in the trees to a massive stage that feels like a mini-Olympics for bands. Plus, there are large-scale art installations and panels that will make you think, "Wow, I didn't know my brain could stretch this far." During , Adelaide transforms into a cultural hotspot that could make even the world's metropolises a tad envious.
